FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Clarksburg’s Newest Pastor Installed in Special ServicesSaturday & Sunday, April 5-6, 2003 -- Christian Apostolic Church, located on N. 20th Street at Arlington, will hold special Pastoral Installation Services on Saturday evening, April 5, and Sunday morning and evening, April 6. Everyone is invited to attend and join in welcoming the new pastor and first lady, Reverend and Mrs. Doug & LaDonna Joseph. The ceremonies are to begin at 6:00 PM on Saturday. There will be anointed singing and praise, and Reverend Edwin S. Harper is to serve as Master of Ceremonies. He is superintendent of the West Virginia District of the United Pentecostal Church International, and he is pastor of the 475-member New Life Cathedral of Huntington. After Rev. Harper will have formally installed the new pastor, special guest Reverend Jack Cunningham, of St. Louis, Missouri, is to preach. He is general director of the Home Missions Division of the United Pentecostal Church International, representing the organization’s headquarters in St. Louis. Following the service, there will be complimentary food and refreshments for all visiting preachers and dignitaries, and their families. The following Sunday morning, at 10:00 AM, there will be more praise, worship, & anointed singing, and our city’s newest pastor will bring a special greeting and address to the church and community. Following the service, there will be a wonderful catered dinner, served complimentary, for all in attendance. The grand finale will be Sunday evening, beginning at 6:00 PM. There will be more worship, praise, music, and singing, and the special guest speaker will be West Virginia’s own Reverend W. H. “Billy” Cole, a renowned evangelist, pastor, author, and crusade speaker. The Lord has used Rev. Cole to help many people, literally hundreds of thousands, to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit in crusades and services all over the world. A powerful outpouring of God’s Spirit is expected in all the services, and especially this one. If you are a believer who has always desired to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit as described in the Book of Acts, chapters 2, 8, 10, and 19, etc. then you will not want to miss this special opportunity. The new pastor comes highly recommended, having ministered at the church's international headquarters offices for nearly seven years. He concluded his time there in the role of Media Director for the Home Missions Division, which serves the needs of both new and established churches across the US and Canada. Rev. Joseph is the church's fourth pastor. In recent weeks, Christian Apostolic Church has been working to garner prayer support for the U.S. Troops in Iraq, and has organized two community-wide prayer rallies under the theme “Let U.S. Pray” For information on the prayer rallies, or to list the name of a soldier you know, visit www.LetUsPray.info For information on the upcoming installation services, visit the internal church website at www.cac.us.com For More Information Contact: |
