Giving God Glory

Praise the Lord. My name is Rhonda DeMoss, and I am a member of Christian Apostolic Church in Clarksburg, WV. I’m very thrilled and excited to relay my testimony of the goodness of God.

In September of 1977, I was in a car accident. I suffered severe brain damage, and I lay in a coma for five and one half months. The doctors said that I was going to die. Praise God, I did not die. Then the doctors said that even if I lived, I’d only be a vegetable. BUT I serve a miraculous God. I was living for the Lord when I had the car accident, so I’ve always trusted God. I knew that He was on my side.  Yes, I’ve been at death’s door and walked through many valleys. But God has always been there at my side.

When I came out of the coma, I couldn’t do anything. I had to start all over again in life--in other words, just as a baby crawls before he walks.  One day I managed to get down from the chair in which I was seated. When Mom asked me what I was doing, I told her that I was going to crawl. And that is just what I did. God has given me a determination. Now I am able to walk, although I still must use a cane.

I don’t feel sorry for myself. I’m happy. People ask me why I’m always smiling and happy. God is good to me. I don’t know what there is to be sad about. God told me through prophecy several years ago that before He returns, my health will be completely restored. I cannot yet walk well without the assistance of a cane, BUT I will. I cannot yet speak normally, as I did before, but I will. I cannot yet hear everything well, BUT I will. I believe the promise of God.  He’s so good to me.  I love to sing the song “God Is So Good To Me.”

I could just talk on and on about God’s goodness to me. He is my life.
